The history of Dia de los Muertos is a holiday that was and still is "Day of the Dead" celebrated for those who have passed on to the other side. They celebrate the deaths of these people because they believe that mourning and grieving the deaths of the people they have lost make their souls feel insulted. They celebrate with food, drinks, traditional crafts (such as sugar skulls and marigold flowers etc.), and activities the dead have enjoyed in their life.
