our Long term Learning Target was; design and build a complex contraption that performs a simple task. In addition, you must demonstrate the application physics concepts and support this with calculations to explain the motion or transfer of energy for each step.
What was the hardest part of doing this project, how did you persevere? The hardest part of my rube was building and having to fix the rube over and over again. We did well on the project but building was the hardest part due to things constantly falling apart.
Personally what was your biggest contribution to the project? The structure, helping find out what we needed to do to fix the project, painting, fixed the cart at the exhibition cause the thumb tack was falling off the cart and wouldn't pop the balloon, I brought supplies we needed although we ended up not using them, I helped with setup at the exhibition as well.
What steps were most challenging to make work? (How did you troubleshoot or redesign) the steps that made it harder to work was the write ups, I didn't understand what the questions where asking me. I felt like I could build the rube but couldn't do the write ups.
